To evacuate the old fluid, one has to use a right siphon or a clean turkey baster, or else, the clutch master cylinder reservoir bracket mounting bolts can be unbolted, and the old fluid can be poured into a worthy receptacle. Wipe the interior of the reservoir well with the clean shop cloth or paper towel and then remove the clutch pipe from the clutch master cylinder and the reservoir hose from the clutch master cylinder reservoir. For extra space the driver side lower dash panel and select components from under the dash, including, the little cotter pin that holds the clutch pedal rod; the small pin holding the clutch yoke; and the clutch master cylinder nuts. Next, the clutch master cylinder have to be removed from under the hood. During installation, one must do it inversely, that is, in the reverse order that it was removed, however, just to refill the clutch hydraulic system, always use the new DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid from the sealed bottle. Last, operate the clutch and allow the clutch system to fill with the correct grade DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid.
