To start, push down on the release tab, and pull the CMP sensor's electrical connector off. Start by taking out three things: the timing belt cover, timing belt, and camshaft sprocket. Then disconnect the electrical plug from the CMP sensor. You should first step away the bolt for the CMP sensor, then take out the sensor behind the timing belt cover. Installation is the reverse of removal.
