Q: How to remove and install the CKP sensor in the Honda Pilot?
A: For Acura 2001-2002 and Honda 2003-2004, raise the vehicle and jack it up. Take off the engine cover and disconnect the CKP sensor connector. Get rid of the timing belt cover and CKP sensor. For Acura 2003 and later or Honda 2005 and later, raise the vehicle and take off the engine cover. Remove the crankshaft pulley, timing belt covers as well as CKP sensor wiring harness shield. Unbolt the CKP sensor from the engine block then disconnect its connector. Reverse removal is installation.
