About Honda Fit Radiator

Since an engine contains hundreds of moving parts, a well-maintained cooling system is needed to keep it from overheating. Honda radiator is a critical component of the cooling system, transferring heat from the coolant to the air flow generated by the fan. The radiator removes excess heat from the engine and keeps a stable, safe temperature for the engine to run properly.

Honda Fit Radiator Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove the radiator and Coolant Reservoir for the Honda Fit?
A: First of all, you must take out the battery and let the coolant out. You will also have to separate the coolant reservoir and also remove some items like the front bumper cover, air filter housing, and hood latch. Another thing you will need to do is disconnect the radiator hoses, ECT sensor connector, ATF cooler hose, and fan connectors. Remove the upper radiator brackets gently and then take off the radiator carefully; Inspect for leaks of damages. To put it back in place, perform steps in reverse order, replacing any necessary O-rings, filling up the cooling system again and plugging in the battery; Check coolants level as required.
