Where is the air filter located and how to replace for the Honda Fit?

The air filter is in the air filter housing on the driver's side of the engine. Release the four clips securing the housing halves, then separate them. Remove the filter and check its surface. If dirty, replace it. If moderately dusty, clean it with compressed air. Don't wash or oil it. If it can't be cleaned, replace it. Don't drop anything into the housing while the cover is off. Never drive without the air filter as it can cause engine wear or fire. Clean the inside of the housing, place the new filter in, reassemble the housing and reset the Maintenance Minder.
