- Q: How do you replace the Instrument Panel Light Bulb on Honda Del Sol?A: To replace the front turn signal or marker light, open the hood, remove the screw securing the housing, and pull the housing straight forward. Next, turn the bulb holder 1/8-turn counterclockwise and pull it out, then push in on the bulb, turn it counterclockwise, and remove it. For the tail light bulb, detach the cover by pressing the tab, turn the bulb holder 1/8-turn counterclockwise to remove it, push in on the bulb, turn it counterclockwise, and pull it out. For the high-mounted brake light in coupe or sedan models, open the trunk, reach through the rear shelf hole, twist the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it, push in on the bulb, turn it counterclockwise, and pull it out. In hatchback models, open the lift gate, pry off the cover below the housing, twist the bulb holder counterclockwise, pull the bulb straight out, and reverse the process for installation. To access the instrument panel lights, remove the instrument cluster, rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it, and pull the bulb straight out. For license plate lights, remove the two screws and pull out the lens, rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise on hatchback models, and pull the bulb straight out. For dome, cargo, or trunk lights, pry the lens off to access the bulb, remove it from the terminals, and take care not to shatter the glass if prying is necessary. Installation for all bulbs is the reverse of removal.
