Q: How to remove and install the Instrument Panel on Honda Del Sol?
A: If the stereo in your vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft system, check the information at the front before detaching the battery cable. Begin by removing the front seats, followed by the console. Next, take out the stereo and the heater control panel. Proceed to remove the instrument panel lower cover and knee bolster, then the instrument cluster trim panel. Ensure to take out any switches that may interfere with the instrument panel removal. Remove the Glove Box, then take off the caps from the ends of the dashboard and unscrew each end of the dash. Detach the carpet clips and peel back the carpet from the forward end of the console tunnel, followed by removing the lower dash retaining bolts. Remove the Steering Column Covers, and if applicable, take out the passenger side airbag. Lower the steering column by removing the nuts and wiring harness clip bolts. Pull out the dash assembly enough to unplug all instrument panel electrical connectors, then remove the instrument panel assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal.
