  • Q: How to remove and install an A/C Accumulator in the air conditioning system of a Honda Ridgeline?
    A: Have the refrigerant discharged and recovered by an air conditioning technician. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the condenser. Remove the cap from the condenser. Remove the filter from the condenser. Remove the A/C Accumulator. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to install new O-rings onto the A/C Accumulator cap. Apply a thin layer of refrigerant oil to the O-rings before installing them. Reconnect the battery. Have the system evacuated, charged and leak tested by the shop that discharged it.
