Q: What steps should be followed to remove and reinstall the audio system and speakers on Honda Odyssey?
A: Prerequisite to this procedure, look for the codes of the anti theft of the audio and the navigation system in case you have one. First of all, you should turn off the power by removing the cable from the negative terminal. To completely remove the radio, one has to take off the center trim panel and unscrew the radio mounting screws. Tilt the radio down and back far enough to pull out the Antenna and the electrical connetor out of the back of the unit and take it out of the car. Reinstallation is done in the same reverse sequence and connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery. For the front door speakers unscrew the cover of the speakers, then unscrew the speakers from the slots and take them out. Remove the electrical connector and take off the speaker in your automobile, and the process of installation is the reverse of the removal process. If it is tweeters, then it will require tugging out with some care to remove the tweeters from the dash and the electrical connectors will have to be unplugged. Reinstallation is again the process of installation done in the opposite way to removal. Rear speakers should have the speaker cover removed by prying it out, unscrew the mounting bolts and then pull out the speaker from its socket. Take off the electrical connector and, consequently, the speaker, while the reassembly was done in a reverse manner.
