How to test and replace the Cooling Fan in the Honda Del Sol?

To test a cooling fan assembly, disconnect it and connect it directly to the battery. Also, test the radiator fan switch with an ohmmeter for continuity when the engine is cold and hot. If it fails, replace it. To remove the fan, disconnect the battery, set the parking brake, raise the vehicle, remove the splash pan. Then, disconnect the fan wiring, remove the mounting bolts and brackets, and lift the fan out. Installation is the reverse of removal.
