Q: How do you disconnect and remove the center console on Honda Accord?
A: Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. On manual transaxle models, unscrew the shift lever knob. Pry off the gear selector trim bezel by carefully detaching the clips and removing the trim ring from around the shifter, then disconnect the electrical connector if equipped with heated seats. Remove the screws securing the front of the console. Take out the console pocket by prying out the console pocket tray and removing the two screws that secure it. Remove the center holder by carefully detaching the clips with a trim stick. Take out the center console center mounting screws. Remove the console rear retaining screws by opening the center console box lid and pulling them out, then removing the screws. Disconnect any electrical connections and remove the console from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
