For Trico wiper blades, turn up the tab at the end of the blade, then remove the insert. After installing the replacement insert, bend the tab back.

Make sure the wipers are in the park position, remove the wiper arms from the wiper pivots, remove the upper and lower clips from the plastic windshield wiper linkage cover, remove the 2 wiper pivot trim covers, and then remove the plastic wiper linkage cover. Using a 10mm socket, extension and ratchet, remove the four wiper assembly mounting bolts, remove the wiper motor electrical connector from the wiper motor, and carefully remove the wiper motor and linkage assembly from the center cowling.

Check the fuse and replace it if necessary. Inspect the switch operation and repair or replace it as needed. Examine for corroded, loose, disconnected, or broken wires and clean or repair them accordingly. Verify the ground circuit for the wiper switch or motor, making repairs as necessary.
