If it is too high then suspect blockage in the carburetor float bowl air vent before thinking of a pump change. On the other hand if the pressure is too low make sure the fuel hoses and lines are correct and not blocked before replacing the pump.

Obtain a fuel pressure gauge and adapter set.

The fuel pump is located under the intake manifold, near the bottom of the engine block next to the engine mounts.

Reassembly follows the reverse order of disassembly, ensuring to replace any gaskets if necessary.
