    Q:
How do you replace the input shaft speed sensor on Honda Odyssey? Posted by Customer
    A:
First of all in this procedure the key has to be pulled out from the ignition key lock cylinder. That would be followed up by removing the lug nuts for left front wheel, lifting the vehicle, installing jackstands and then finally removing the left front wheel. Following that, remove the shield that was used when splashing. Find the Input shaft speed sensor at the Front left corner of the transaxle; to uninstall the sensor pinch the tab for connector release and pull the wire, next, take out the bolt at the back of the sensor and pull the sensor out. Unplug the electrical connector found on the input shaft speed sensor you are working with and then unscrew the mounting bolt and pull out the sensor. Make sure you have no any old seal on the input shaft sensor, and if you are reusing this sensor, ensure that you use new seal. To install, just reverse all the above steps with a new O-ring and torque the sensor mounting bolt to the requird amount. Last of all, you need to return the wheel and lug nuts back to their position, jack down your vehicle and finally, tighten the lug nuts to the prescribed torque.
