    How Do You check Fuel Pressure and fuel pump on Honda Accord? Posted by Customer
    A:
    Verify fuel in the tank and fuel pump runs by turning the ignition switch to ON and listening for a brief whirring noise. To measure fuel pressure, use a fuel pressure gauge, fuel hose, and adapter. Relieve system fuel pressure and disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the quick-connect fittings and the fuel pressure gauge into the fuel system. Reconnect the battery and turn off the air conditioning and other electrical systems. Turn the ignition switch ON, start the engine, let it warm up, and check the fuel pressure, replacing the fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter if necessary. Relieve the system fuel pressure and disconnect the negative battery terminal. You will unplug the testing rig and reconnect the fuel supply line quick-connect fitting. Reconnect the negative battery terminal. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
