    Detach the cable from the negative battery terminal and relieve the fuel system pressure. Remove the second-row seats and carpet, then unscrew the fuel pump access cover. Disconnect the fuel pump/fuel level sending unit electrical connector and quick-connect fittings. Remove the fuel pump/fuel level sending unit locknut. Inspect the seal and replace if necessary. Install the seal in the hole first. Reconnect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
