    How to replace a Brake Caliper on Honda Civic? Posted by Customer

    Loosen the lug nuts on the front and rear wheels, raise the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the wheels, disconnect the brake line from the caliper, and plug it. Remove the mounting bolts and detach the caliper. Installation is the reverse of removal. Replace the sealing washers on either side of the brake line fitting with new ones. Tighten the caliper mounting bolts and the banjo bolt. Bleed the brake system, install the wheels and lug nuts, lower the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts.
