    Q:
How do you replace the low-beam and high-beam headlight bulbs on Honda Accord? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the low-beam headlight bulb, first remove the two forward fasteners securing the inner fender splash shield, then pull the splash shield back for access to the bulb. For V6 models with a manual transmission, also remove the air duct accessible through the inner fender panel. To replace a high-beam bulb on the left (driver's) side, remove the air intake cover from in front of the battery. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight by depressing the release lever and pulling off the connector. Next, remove the bulb socket from the headlight housing by turning it counterclockwise 45 degrees and pulling it out. To install a new bulb socket, align the lugs on the socket with the slots in the periphery of the mounting hole, insert the bulb socket, and rotate it clockwise until it stops. Installation is the reverse of removal, and once completed, verify that the new headlight bulb operates correctly.

    Q:
How do you replace the low beam and high beam bulbs on Honda CR-V? Posted by Customer
    A:
To get to the right-side low beam bulb, use the headlight and ignition switches turned off and open the hood. From under the hood, to the right of the right headlamp, get to the back of the assembly and unscrew the bulb socket 45 degrees counterclockwise and pull it out and separate the electrical connector. For installation reverse the above procedure as follows: For left side low beam bulb, first, the upper left hand fender trim panel should be detached, next the air intake duct cover and air intake duct which fasten with the use of inner trap door should be taken off. Twist the bulb socket to the anti clockwise or clock wise direction slightly 45 degree for disconnecting the electrical connection for the easy removing of the bulb. Once more, installation proceeds in the opposite direction to execution and is achieved in four steps. To removal the high beam bulb, turn the bulb counterclockwise 45 degrees then remove the bulb and remove the electrical connector, while to install is to reverse the process of the removal. For the CR-V, you will first have to unplug the electrical connector to the headlamp, then take off the rubber dust boot. Push the retaining bail up and slightly back to free the bulb from the fixture and take the bulb out, and the process could be done in reverse.

    Q:
How do I replace a headlight bulb on Honda Pilot? Posted by Customer
    A:
Make sure the ignition switch as well as the headlight switch are both turned off and then open the hood. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight bulb. If available, pull one of its tabs so that you may remove them easily for a rubber weather seal within a headlight housing. Disengage the bulb retainer wire and remove the bulb from the headlight housing. Push it up until it clears the slot, then push it forward to disengage its slot, pull it back and finally remove just a single headlight bulb. While inserting that into your headlights assembly be careful not to touch any part of its glass with bare fingers. Make sure that three metallic tabs on this bulb do align along with these three slots in such plastic mounting base and also that this flange for mounting this bulb is completely seated against base. Then swing back again into place this bulb retainer wire and engage at its end with slotting it has. At rear side within headlight assemblies set up a rubber weather seal on models equipped like this one is being done here . In performing this task ensure that an arrow or "top" word is situated at twelve o'clock position. Lastly, plug in electric connector.
