To gain further access to the fasteners on both side of the bumper cover, pull down on the inside fender splash shield. With help, unlock the attachment hooks and slide the front bumper to the front, to remove the cover, and also, unplug the front fog light connections if any. The process of installation is in fact the process of removal in the opposite direction. When working on the rear bumper cover, first, the liftgate lid should be opened then the fasteners at the upper part and at the bottom of the bumper cover should be detached. Behind the rear wheel well, there is a bolt which need to be unscrewed to release the bumper cover. With assistance, lift the wheel arch portions away from the side spacer and pull the rear bumper to remove from hooks on the body, then the process is done in reverse for fitment.
