Honda Del Sol Turn Signal Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How do you check and replace Turn Signal Switch on Honda Del Sol?
A: The stereo in your vehicle may be equipped with an anti-theft system; check the information at the front before detaching the battery cables. To check, first remove the steering column covers, then take off the instrument panel lower cover. Next, remove the affected switch and unplug the electrical connector. Check the connector terminals for continuity with the switch in each position; if the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch. For replacement of the Turn Signal Switch/headlight/dimmer switch, remove the two retaining screws, detach the switch, unplug the electrical connector, and take the switch out of the housing, with installation being the reverse of removal. For the windshield wiper/washer switch, remove the two retaining screws, then use a small screwdriver to carefully detach the switch from the housing and unplug the electrical connector, with installation also being the reverse of removal.
