Q: How do you remove and reinstall the door trim panel on manual window regulator on Honda Del Sol?
A: On manual Window Regulator equipped models, remove the window crank by pulling the clip off with a wire hook or a special tool made for this purpose. Next, take out the inside Door Handle. Remove the door trim panel retaining screws, including the screw in the door pull, and carefully pry loose the retaining clips with a trim pad remover or a putty knife, working slowly around the outer edge of the trim panel until it is free. Once all clips are disengaged, pull the trim panel up, unplug any wire harness connectors, and remove the panel. For access to the door inner panel, carefully peel back the plastic shield, taking care not to tear it. Before reinstalling the door trim panel, ensure any clips that may have come out during removal are reinstalled. Plug in the wire harness connectors for the power door lock switch and the power window switch, if equipped, then position the panel in the door. Press the door panel into place until the clips are seated, install the two trim panel retaining screws and the armrest retaining screw, and finally, install the power door lock switch assembly and the manual regulator crank handle.
