How do you properly remove and install a battery on Honda CRX?

On all the models it is mounted in the engine compartment. First, it is required to turn off the ignition switch. It's always recommended to remove the negative batter terminal before the positive one. For the Nippon type alternator the procedures involve removing the alternator from the car and the end cover as well. Then, take out the two screws fixing the brush holder and then take out the brush holder out. Using the vernier caliper, determine the length of the brushes and record them comparing it to the standard brush length that is 0.53. Subsequently, take out the battery hold down clamp nuts, the clamp and the battery out of the car. To remove, perform the procedures as follows: To install perform the procedures in reverse order, make sure that the battery is properly placed on the battery tray. It is recommended that a rudimental cleansing of the battery posts and terminal connectors should be made before making connection. Last attach the positive terminal of the battery followed by the negative one and apply a coating of non-metallic type on the terminals of the battery.
