  • Q: How to replace the Blower Motor and Power Transistor in a Honda Crosstour?
    A: Working in the passenger compartment under the glove box, disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor power transistor. On 2004 and 2005 models, remove the lower dash panel to gain access to the blower motor transistor by pulling down on the edge of the panel near the glove box until all retaining clip and pins have been separated. Remove the blower motor power transistor mounting screws and remove the transistor. Installation is the reverse of removal. Reconnect the battery. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor. On 2004 and 2005 models, remove the lower dash panel to gain access to the blower motor by pulling down on the edge of the panel near the glove box until all retaining clips and pins have been separated. Remove the blower motor mounting screws and then remove the blower motor assembly. Remove the circlip from the blower motor shaft to release the fan from the motor. Installation is the reverse of removal. Reconnect the battery.
