Q: How do you disconnect the reservoir hose from the radiator filler neck and remove the coolant reservoir on Honda CR-V?
A: Take off the hose which is connecting the reservoir to the radiator filler neck and then, close it by using the cap to avoid the leakage. In some cases the air filter housing and or the battery inclusive of the battery tray might be needed to remove the reservoir. Popup the fastener on the top of the mounting , and then pull out the coolant reservoir If you have the high mount system for the engine then it might look slightly different. Raise the reservoir from the engine and wash the tank with soap and water and use Nylon brush to remove deposits in the tank. Also, one must ensure there are no cracks in the reservoir, if any the reservoir should be replaced. Installation of gypsum boards is the process that is carried out in the reverse manner to the removal process.
