Honda Accord Hazard Warning Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How do you remove and install the moonroof, traction control, and hazard flasher switches on Honda Accord?
A: To delete the moonroof switch, one must pop or snap it from the dashboard lower cover and also pull on the electrical connector. As to installation, they have to be done in reverse of the steps highlighted above for removal. For the traction control switch, the switch panel can be push out or carefully pried from the lower left corner of the dashboard and electric connector is disconnected, next, the traction control switch can be push out or carefully pried from the switch panel and reverse. To access the hazard flasher switch, you will need to first undo the upper dash panel, to do so you need to pull on the tab on the backside and take off the electrical connector. Third, push down the release tabs on the top and the bottom of the hazard flasher switch housing and then slid it off the center panel; and the process of reinstalling is quite the reverse of uninstalling. However, for the location of the hazard flasher switch, it is located at the same position for all the models although the design may be slightly different.
