Q: How Do I Remove the Radio, Navigation Unit, and Climate Control Head on Honda Accord?
A: The radio, navigation unit (if equipped) and A/C switch are mounted together and removed as a unit. First, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the dashboard upper panel and center pocket. On 2010 and later four-cylinder models, the A/C switch and audio assembly are mounted to the center trim panel. Once the trim panel is removed, the components may be removed from the backside of the trim panel. Next, remove the mounting fasteners for the audio and A/C switch. Disconnect all electrical connectors and remove the unit. The A/C switch can now be separated from the assembly by removing the mounting screws. Installation is the reverse of removal. Finally, reconnect the battery.
