A:
To replace the throttle body, remove the air intake duct, disconnect the electrical connectors, and clamp off the coolant hoses. Disconnect all hoses, disconnect the accelerator and cruise control cables, and detach the wiring harness clip. Remove the mounting bolts and nuts, discard the old gasket, and clean the bore. Install the throttle body with a new gasket, check the coolant level, and adjust the accelerator cable. Perform the PCM idle learn procedure and check for air and coolant leaks.

A:
To replace the throttle body, disconnect the negative battery terminal and pinch off the coolant hoses to the throttle body. Remove the air intake duct. For some Acura and Honda models, detach the cable bracket from the throttle body. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor, and TP sensor, and disconnect the coolant hoses from the throttle body. Disconnect the EVAP purge valve hose and the electrical connector from the IAC valve. Remove the throttle body, the spacer, and the gaskets. During installation, use new gaskets and tighten the throttle body mounts. Check the coolant level and adjust if necessary. Reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal, start the engine, and check for leaks.

Remove the air intake duct, disconnect the electrical connectors from the throttle body, clamp off the two throttle body coolant hoses and then disconnect them, disconnect all hoses from the throttle body, disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle cam and the bracket, disconnect the cruise control cable from the throttle cam and the bracket, detach the wiring harness clip from the small bracket on the throttle body, remove the two throttle body mounting bolts and the two mounting nuts and remove the throttle body, remove the old throttle body gasket and discard it, remove all traces of old gasket material from the gasket mating surfaces of the throttle body and the intake manifold, spray the bore with carburetor cleaner or some other suitable solvent and thoroughly clean the bore, particularly the area below the throttle valve, by wiping off the oily residue, varnish or carbon deposits with a clean shop rag, install the throttle body with a new gasket and tighten the throttle body mounting bolts and nuts to the torque listed in the specifications, check the coolant level and top it up if necessary, check the accelerator cable adjustment and adjust it if necessary, perform the PCM idle learn procedure, check for air and coolant leaks.

Take out the throttle body, spacer, and two gaskets.
