Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the air filter housing. Clamp off the coolant hoses to the throttle body, then disconnect them, having towels available to immediately wipe up any residual coolant that might spill. Label and remove all of the remaining hoses and lines from the throttle body housing. Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector and the EVAP canister purge valve electrical connector. Loosen the throttle body mounting bolts a little at a time in a criss-cross pattern to prevent distortion. Remove the throttle body from the intake manifold chamber. Installation is the reverse of removal; use a new throttle body gasket and reconnect the hoses and lines to their correct ports as noted during removal, tightening the throttle body mounting bolts a little at a time in a crisscross pattern. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
