- A:To replace the throttle body, remove the air intake duct, disconnect the electrical connectors, and clamp off the coolant hoses. Disconnect all hoses, disconnect the accelerator and cruise control cables, and detach the wiring harness clip. Remove the mounting bolts and nuts, discard the old gasket, and clean the bore. Install the throttle body with a new gasket, check the coolant level, and adjust the accelerator cable.
