    Check battery cable clamps, cables, battery, starter solenoid wiring and connections, starter mounting bolts, fuses, gear position switch or clutch start switch circuit, starter cut relay. If starter does not activate, check battery voltage to solenoid. If starter turns over slowly, check cranking voltage and current draw. If starter receives voltage but does not activate, remove and check starter/ solenoid assembly on bench. Install jumper cables, starter switch and apply battery voltage to S terminal. Observe solenoid plunger, shift lever and overrunning clutch extend and rotate pinion drive.
