    To remove the front driveaxle, start by loosening the front wheel lug nuts. Raise and securely support the vehicle on jackstands. Remove the wheel. Unstake the driveaxle/hub nut and then loosen it with a large socket and breaker bar. Separate the ball joint from the control arm. Swing the knuckle/hub assembly out until the driveaxle is free of the hub. Support the outer end of the driveaxle with a wire. Pry the inner CV joint out of the transaxle carefully.
