    Q:
How to remove and replace the MAP sensor on Honda Odyssey? Posted by Customer
    A:
First of all, take out the key from the ignition key lock cylinder and then taking off the intake manifold cover. Third, remove the electrical connector from the MAP sensor after which remove the retaining screws to free the MAP sensor from the throttle body. Then you should remove the old MAP sensor 0-ring and for the 2001 models the MAP sensor spacer mounting screws, the spacer and the spacer 0-ring which all have to be replaced by new parts. Make sure to get new 0-rings for both the spacer and the MAP sensor, and when placing the MAP sensor make sure to tighten the retaining screws properly. Last of all, the process of installation is done in the opposite manner to the process of removal.

    Q:
Where is the MAP sensor located and How to remove and install on Honda Fit? Posted by Customer
    A:
The MAP sensor is usually fitted atop of the intake manifold towards the driver-side of the engine. First of all, the electrical connector of the MAP sensor must be disconnected. Third, bring out the mounting screw and withdraw the sensor as well from the device. Regarding installation the process should be the inverse of the removal process and as always, a new O-ring should be used and the mounting screw should be tightened to the required amount.

    Q:
How do you install the MAP sensor for the 2007 Honda Accord? Posted by Customer
    A:
Always use a new O-ring when installing the MAP sensor, whether you're installing the old sensor or a new unit. The installation process is the reverse of removal, and it's important to use a new O-ring. For V6 models, the process is the same. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor, remove the MAP sensor retaining screw and the sensor, and remove and discard the old MAP sensor O-ring. Again, installation is the reverse of removal, and a new O-ring should be used.
