    Q:
How are the turn signal and hazard flashers managed and what steps should be taken if there are issues with their operation on Honda Odyssey? Posted by Customer
    A:
Programmable turn signal switch and hazard flashers which are controlled by an electric flaser unit attached to the backside of the fuse/relay box beneath the far left of the dash. Under normal working conditions it is possible to here a click sound while in operation. In case the turn signal indicator on the instrument cluster blinks unusually quicker than it normally should, then a blow out is on the specific turn signal bulb's filament. If neither of these indicators lights up, the potential problems that exist are a fused out flasher unit, a bad flasher switch unit, a broken switch or even a loose connection. When a left or right turn signal fuse has been blown, care should be taken to examine a short in the wiring before attempting to replace the fuse. The flasher unit is removed and to replace it one has to unlock the nut and two locking tabs on the driver's side fuse and relay box. The flasher unit can also be pulled out on the backside of the fuse and relay box of the automobile The flasher unit can also be pulled out on the back side of the fuse and relay box of an automobile. This is in the reverse order of removal and makes certain that the replacement unit is an exact replica of the removed unit.
