To have the oil pan removed then it is required to warm up the engine, drain the oils and also replace the oil filter. To install, first clean the oil pan with solvent and dry the gasket flanges making sure that they are not distorted and if they are flatten them down. Use 1/8-inch RTV sealant in citing the oil pan gasket surfaces and must be placed at the ID of the bolt holes. Slide into place the oil pan and bolt it; tighten the bolt in phased approached starting from the central bolt and moving outward, avoid over tightening that may cause leakage. In last, pour oil and engage the engine and look out for any kind of leakage related to the oil.
