    How do you remove and install the transaxle and crankshaft rear main seal on Honda Prelude? Posted by Customer

    Driveplate should be detached from the crankshaft then, to get to the crankshaft rear crankshaft seal, it has to be teased out of its retainer. For installation clean engine oil should first be applied to the lip of the new seal, the seal should then be placed onto the crankshaft and into the retainer with the help of the seal driver, after which the driveplate and the transaxle should be replaced.
