    Disconnect the negative battery cable, drain the cooling system, and remove the radiator. Detach the starter cable and, if needed, the vacuum control box for clearance. After raising the vehicle, remove the front wheels and splash shield, then disconnect the front Oxygen sensor and exhaust pipe. Remove the heat shield bolts and EGR crossover pipe, followed by the manifold nuts.
