    How do you disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the distributor cap and igniter unit on Honda CRX? Posted by Customer

    Remove the negative cable, then take out the distributor cap and seal, along with the retaining screws, at which you can slide off the leak cover. Next, to provide access to the igniter unit, three leads should be disconnected from igniter unit; after that the igniter unit retaining screw should be removed and the igniter unit should be taken out. That is followed by placing the igniter unit in the correct position and fixing it using one screw. Connect the wires back, then place the leakage cover then engage the distributor cap and the seal back.
