To take off the front bumper start by taking out the bumper cover, any wiring or any other component that would hinder your view during the removal process, use the jack or jackstand and support the front bumper, then you are free to remove the plastic bumper beam absorber and gussets, then the four bolts which takes off the bumper beam. To install one, revert these steps, however, make sure that the bolts for retaining are well tightened before fitting back the bumper cover together with other parts. In the case of the rear bumper, initial steps should be to remove the bumper cover and the wiring or components that will interfere with the process. Place the car on jack or at least put jackstand under it and then unlock the bumper by removing the carpet at the trunk or the lift gate for access to the nuts. Four bolts in the rear compartment should be duly expelled to exchange the bumper beam with the automobile. Reassembly is done in the reverse way starting with tightening of the retaining bolts and then replacement of the bumper cover and other parts.
