    The stereo in your vehicle may be equipped with an anti-theft system; check the information at the front before detaching the battery cable. First, remove the instrument cover lower panel. For tilt steering columns, move the column to the lowest position. Next, remove the remaining screws, then separate the halves and take off the covers using a Phillips head screwdriver for the steering column cover screws. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
