The alternator, air-conditioning, and power steering are driven by drivebelts in 2001-2002 Acura and 2003-2004 Honda models except that a single serpentine belt is used in 2003+ Acura and 2005+Honda models. Thus, regular inspection for cracks, fraying, and wear is highly important. Power steering belts can be checked by applying a force of 20 lbs. However, ribbed belts have marks to show wear. To adjust the power steering belt tension means you have to loosen the mounting bolt and then make use of an adjuster bolt. To replace ribbed belts, the automatic tensioner is released so that the new belt may be centered on the pulleys.
